Delete your Receiptor account

Delete your account yourself in the Receiptor app for iPhone or Android. If you can’t, ask us and we’ll delete it for you.

In the Receiptor app

  1. Open Receiptor on your phone and sign in.
  2. Go to the Settings tab and tap Delete account.
  3. Enter your password, or sign in again with Google or Apple, and type DELETE to confirm.

If you’re a workspace administrator, close the workspace first on the web (workspace Settings → Close Workspace), then delete your account in the app.

Ask us to delete it

Send us a message from the email address you sign in with and ask us to delete your account, or email admin@receiptor.ca. We’ll reply by email once it’s deleted.

Request deletion

What’s deleted

  • Your name and email address
  • Your sign-in, whether a password, Google or Apple
  • Your place in every workspace, and invitations sent to your email
  • Gmail connections you set up to import receipts

What’s kept

  • Expenses, receipt files and comments you added to a workspace. They belong to that workspace and show as from “Deleted user”.
  • A record of the account under its sign-in ID, without your name or email, so it can’t be used again
  • Profile pictures you uploaded, which are no longer shown
  • Usage analytics and error reports. Session recordings are deleted after 30 days.

Closing a workspace keeps its expenses, reports and members. To have a closed workspace’s records deleted too, say so in your request. The privacy policy has the details.
